Project Background
The road lighting project in a suburb of Mauritius is large in scale and needs to meet the lighting requirements of the road at night. Considering the factors of environmental protection and energy saving, the local people in charge chose to use solar street lamps as the lighting equipment.

Solution
After detailed investigation and argumentation, we finally chose sresky ultra-thin series--Basalt solar street light.Basalt series solar street light has unique design features, such as one-piece, thin, high efficiency, easy to install, and strong wind and shock resistance. The street light is made of high-quality aluminum alloy material with anti-rust paint sprayed on the surface, which is durable and beautiful.
Basalt series solar street light adopts high quality LED lamp beads, long service life, high brightness, energy saving and environmental protection. In addition, the street light has PIR function, which automatically increases to 100% brightness when sensing human movement. It not only meets the lighting demand, but also saves energy and utilizes energy more efficiently.
Based on the lighting requirements, the project chose the sresky Basalt series, model SSL-96 solar street light. The luminance of the lamp is 6000 lumens and the installation height is 7 meters. In order to ensure the lighting effect, we also arranged the number of streetlights according to the width of the road and the spacing of streetlights. In addition, the LED lamp beads used in the lamps and lanterns, together with the PIR function, effectively reduce energy consumption and can well meet the energy-saving requirements.
Before installing the solar street lights, we first conducted a site survey to determine the appropriate installation location for installation. After ensuring the normal operation of the equipment, we started the on-site installation. During the installation process, we strictly control the installation position and height of the street light according to the requirements of the local person in charge to ensure that the lighting effect is maximized.
After the installation of the solar street lights was completed, we conducted field measurements and evaluations of the lighting effect. The results showed that on a clear night, the Basalt series solar street light can fully meet the lighting needs of the road and improve the safety of night driving. At the same time, due to the use of LED lamp beads and PIR function, compared with traditional street lamps, the energy consumption of Basalt solar street lamps is greatly reduced, effectively improving the efficiency of energy utilization.
